My Top Ten Places:By choice, I have not been an extensive traveler but have been around "enough". I tend to prefer long weekend getaways as opposed to couple week vacations, train/car travel versus airplanes, and urban sites to rural ones (although that has been rapidly reversing itself as of late). The whole beach scene has never been my idea of a good time, it's not how I relax.
1| Rock of Gibraltar, located off the southwestern tip on the Iberian Peninsula. As far as rocks go, this one has got to be the most famous. In acient times it marked the limits of the "known" world. To pass beyond it was to sail to certain destruction over the bottomless waterfall at the edge of the world.
2| Riding on Amtrak's City of New Orleans, passenger train #59 from Chicago to New Orleans.
3| Decatur Island
