The Great Divide
Q: How many US states does the Continental Divide of the Americas pass through?

A: Six.

I answered five, and my friend starts heckling me.

"Ok, Captain Geography, name 'em."

"Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico."

Sigh, "I forgot about Wyoming. I always forget about Wyoming -- to me, it's as though Wyoming and Colorado are the same state."

Wyoming and Colorado

"Kinda like the Alfred E. Neuman equation?"

"What's that?"

"You know, how any combination of Prince Charles, David Letterman, George W., or Ted Koppel always equates to Alfred E. Neuman."

"No, no, no. More like how the NY Jets uniforms remind me of generic brand labeling."

"Like Brendan Fraser and Robert Downey Jr. then?"

L: Brendan Fraser R: Robert Downey Jr.

Sigh, "No, like in the song What a Feeling from Flashdance, Irene Cara sings 'Take your passion...' and I always heard 'Take your pants off...'. Like that. I think."

Jennifer Beals in 'Flashdance'

"Oh right, I understand, like 'Here's looking at Eu-clid'."

"I coulda been a coal tender?"

"Did you really just say C-O-A-L tender?"

"Indeed, I did."
From 'On the Waterfront' - I coulda been a contender.

"Yes, in fact, exactly like that. E.X.A.C.T.L.Y."

"Uncle, by the way."
